Greetings from the Omnigraphic Blogopticon. On view are vile sticky things dragged from the attic, snarky commentary on the world at large, and all-encompassing ennui. All that and a weird rubbery smell. A horrible time will be had by all.

Snowmageddon 2010

One pic from Philadelphia whilst I have the internets working. Blizzard in Chinatown, taken at about 2:30 this afternoon. More to come.

Back to knitting.

Photo added later, mostly to give my brother something to grumble about. Rittenhouse Square under an assload of snow.

Back to knitting, for real this time.

Snowmageddon? we'd feel lucky to have only this quantity of snow, up here in the frozen, barren lands of Quebec! I feel your pain, however, since light snow such as what's currently happening in philly sucks as much as heavy snow. At least it gives you a reason to stay inside and knit more awesome knitted goodness!

Ya know, on the way up to Philly we passed a camper with Quebec plates, with bikes strapped to the back. I thought they were being a mite optimistic about their holiday plans, but maybe you guys regularly bike in two-foot-deep snow? ;D

well, about half of our tax money goes into (trying) to keep the roads clear of snow, so yeah, you sometimes see bikers next to 6' high snow banks, but not directly in them, though ;)
